回复 HBVCURER 的帖子
I think you are talking rubbish again!
It was only recently that most researchers accepted that lowering of hbvdna can partially restore T cell immune function.
Interferon used to be described as immune-moderator, but now research indicated, post REP9AC, that it may achieve some of its effect because it can also lower HBsAg!.
When monoclonal HBsAg antibody was first developed, it was hailed as a success until they discovered the HBsAg/HBsAB immunocomplex formed was toxic to the kidney. FDA asked for a very large clinical trial and effort to develop the monoclonal HBsAb was reluctantly abandoned. Luckily, a new company may revive the use of monoclonal HBsAb again. Until the clinical trials of REP9AC, nobody can demonstrate that in humans. Even now in America, they don't allow serum HBsAg to be measured quantitatively, to suggest they proved years ago that HBsAg inhibits immune system in humans is pretty hard to accept.
Before REP9AC, there were suggestions, of course, that it inhibited the immune system in non-human studies. So to lower HBsAg with either REP9AC or monoclonal HBsAb should achieve the same effect, but not so with ARC520/1.
If you must know, REP9AC only inhibits the release of HBsAg sub viral particles, it does not inhibit the release of new Dane particles with their coat of HBsAg. Is this good or bad? Well ARC520/521 inhibits the production of HBsAg protein, therefore the infected liver cells never express HBsAg epitopes in MHC class I complex, so how can a HBsAg specific T cell recognize the infected cell? However, REP9AC does not inhibit production of HBsAg, it only inhibits the release of SVP, therefore the infected liver cells still express MHC Class I complex with HBsAg epitopes for a recovered T cells to recognize!
My conversation with Dr Bazinet was not to discuss investing in Replicor, he offered to help because a group MedHelp members wanted to set up a fund to buy or invest in Replicor. Of course, I asked to invest personally in Replicor, but the minimum lot of $25,000 was too much for me then. It was a decision I came to regret because now I cannot invest even if I have the money because Replicor does not solicit investment from individuals anymore (have a look at their website).
As I say, show me the evidence about anything you mentioned and I will apologize. I had these arguments with other members before, so I am rather sick of it unless I see hard evidence. |
