M2M（窈窕美眉）是由两个来自挪威的小女孩Marit （乖乖美眉——玛莉特）及Marion （好动美眉——玛莉安）所组成的团体，由于两人名字都是M开头，所以就叫M2M。

　　Marit与Marion两人认识于1990年（大约五岁时），由于对音乐的喜爱，两人成了好朋友，并常在一起为家人及朋友表演。 他们的第一张唱片是八岁时以挪威语灌录的儿童专辑Synger Kjente Barnesanger (Sings Famous Children's Songs)，这张专辑也获得Spillemanspriest （相当于挪威的葛莱美奖）《最佳儿童专辑》的提名。当时他们的团名是Marit & Marion。

　　M2M于1998年7月与Atlantic唱片公司签约，首支单曲Don't Say You Love Me，由M2M一起谱写， 并由Celine Dion（席琳狄翁）与Jennifer Paige（珍妮佛佩姬）的专辑制作人共同制作， 并成为“神奇宝贝——口袋饼干皮卡丘”（Pokemon：the First Movie） 电影主题曲， 并配合电影的上映目前已在全美电台获得广大的回响并持续发烧中，单曲销售量目前高居第五名，已经超过40,000张纪录。M2M首张专辑Shades Of Purple已于2000年3月发行， M2M包办所有的词曲创作，并请到 Spice Girls（辣妹）、Backstreet Boys（新好男孩）、Britney Spears（小甜甜布兰妮）…… 等当红艺人团体的专辑制作人倾力操刀。

《THOSE WERE THE DAYS》--MARY HOPKIN

　　故事发生在1968年，众所周知，那是在BOB DYLAN和THE BYRDS横行歌坛的时代，但是，当这位金发女郎带着她的一首歌闯进来的时候，仅凭这一付甜美的嗓音就使她的歌声在几个月里传遍了全球，而那首歌也成为了一首国际热门曲。她就是1950年5月3日出生在英国威尔士的格拉摩根的MARY HOPKIN，这首国际热门金曲就是这首《THOSE WERE THE DAYS》。在MARY HOPKIN15岁的时候，她成为了一把吉它的主人，开始在南威尔士的小俱乐部里演唱，并且出现在了威尔士的电视台里。经过了几年以后，她成为了ITV电视台里的专门为流行音乐的业余爱好者开办的节目《叩访机遇》中的明星，在200多个竞争者当中她获得了最高的荣誉。这只是个开始。实际上说她去叩访机遇，倒不如说是机遇叩开了她家的大门。其实，她的成功应该说是要感谢一位慧眼识英雄的音乐家，他就是THE BEATLES的成员PAUL McCARTNEY。就在MARY HOPKIN在电视台初露锋芒之后不久，电视台的一位演出的负责人就在一次电话里把她推荐给了PAUL McCARTNEY，而当时恰巧THE BEATLES的苹果唱片公司刚刚组建不久，他们正在寻找新的歌手，用MARY的一张唱片上的话说就是：MARY HOPKIN WAS THE RIGHT SINGER IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME。也就是说，一切都是恰到好处。而且，在PAUL McCARTNEY和MARY HOPKIN第一次接触之后，就被她迷人的歌声所吸引和打动了。从这个时候开始，可以说MARY HOPKIN就已经登上了通向成功的阶梯。当MARY在伦敦的“蓝天使”俱乐部里唱歌的时候，其实PAUL McCARTNEY就已经为她准备好了通往成功的阶梯，当时PAUL听到了美国的两位音乐家GENE和FRANCESCA创作的一首带有西欧传统民歌风格的作品。职业的敏感使他立刻就感觉到了这一定会使MARY HOPKIN走向成功。事实证明PAUL McCARTNEY的确成功了，这也就是说MARY HOPKIN也成功了。

还记得电影「女郎俱乐部 -- COYOTE UGLY」的劲舞浪漫情节吗？ 尽管这部电影受到的评价不一，但由美国乡村歌曲小天后 LeAnn Rimes 在电影原声带中演唱的四首歌曲，却使“女狼”热潮袭卷全球，而主题曲“ Can’t Fight The Moonlight ”更是在小莱姆的魅力四射下，勇夺全英单曲榜后座。最近在台湾，常会听人谈起「『女狼俱乐部』的原声带好好听唷！」或是「你听过『黎安莱姆丝』吗？」之类的话题，而这些，都是冲著小莱姆迷人的演唱超魔力而来的！
　　一个厉害的人物总是从小就有许多惊人的创举，今年正值18岁花样年华的 LeAnn Rimes，在1996年，就惊动「乐」林地推出目前全美销售已突破 700万张的首张个人专辑「Blue」，也因此获得葛莱美年度乡村歌手和最佳新人的殊荣。莱姆丝的歌声回旋缭绕，流畅无暇的转音功力，服贴地与乐曲相互起伏共鸣，演唱的功力还一度被拿来与已过世30馀年的50、60年代乡村天后Patsy Cline相比拟。
