help the HBV carriers in China out of discrimination!
Dear Sir or Madam:
As a HBV virus carrier from china, I am not writing this letter to ask you how to cure this disease but to show you the critical life the HBV carriers are living caused by severe discrimination towards them so as to arise your compassion. We seriously need your help to give pressure to china government by reporting the discrimination we are facing.
China is the only country setting hbv 5-item test as a highlighted standard for education and before-job entrance health examination. The situation which is worse in the case of job entrance is that if one’s HBsAg item is recorded as red he would be rejected.
If one needs to improve himself, he needs education.
If one needs to survive, he needs a job.
However, the HBV carriers are forbidden to go to schools (even kindergartens as to babies) and to have a job. It’s not the government that forces the schools or firms not to take HBV carriers, however, it’s the government’s duty to cancel the hbv 5-item test as a entrance examination which is the source where the discrimination towards HBV carriers comes from.
You might be wondering that hbv 5-item test can help carriers know their health condition thus making proper cure methods so there is no need to cancel it. But here in china this test is no longer private but used as a weapon to destroyed carriers’ lives.
Because of a hell long history of people’s discrimination towards HBV carriers and people’s ignorance about this kind of disease in china, it’s the only way to free HBV carriers to make the china government make a law to ban hbv 5-item test as any kind of standard examination before enrollment except for some special job kinds and make it clear that it is just up to people themselves to take this test or not..
Right now, it is a new semester for babies to go to kindergartens but HBV carrier babies are still wandering outside hoping just to be as normal as others.
HERE IN CHINA, 130 MILLION HBV CARRIERS NEED YOUR REPORT.
AND YOUR REPORT IS PRESSUR TO OUR POLICY MAKERS.
AND YOUR REPORT IS OUR HOPE.
I am hoping for you reply if it’s available.
