乙肝歧视在中国由来已久，随着科学的发展，社会的进步，歧视没有减轻，反而在变本加厉地流行。乙肝携带者有入学就业方面，都受到了压迫和不公平的对待，隐么私荡然无存，权利被随意践踏。
We are some Chinese parents of hepatitis B-virus children carriers.
The discrimination against hepatitis B-virus carriers has decades-long history in China. Although our society and scientific technology developed rapidly in recent thirty years, this discrimination has never been alleviated but even enhanced in many ways. Hepatitis B-virus carriers receive discrimination in attending schools and finding jobs in our society.
To remove HBV carrier-discrimination requires much effort. We need the help from international society, especially from some professional institution, such as UNICEF. That is why we wrote this letter to you.
孩子是上帝赐予人类最珍贵的礼物，应该受到特别的呵护和培养，不分种族，不分肤色，不分语种，每个孩子，都是天使。
We all believe that children are the most precious present given by God, and every one of them deserves the equal right of being protected and nurtured, regardless of race, skin color, nationality, etc. Every single child is an angel.
可是，现在我的宝宝不仅得不到社会的关爱，反而在遭受歧视和凌辱，连受教育的权利，也无法拥有。
Nevertheless, our children are suffering discrimination instead of being loved and protected by the society! They are deprived of the right of receiving education just because they are hepatitis B-virus children carriers.
现在，我年仅3岁的孩子，也因为乙肝携带而找不到一家可以收留他的幼儿园！
My 3-year-old son, who is a HBV-carrier, could not find one kindergarten which agrees to enroll him.
如此年幼的孩子，如果不去学校，他们应该去哪里？我找不到答案。许多乙肝母亲和我一样，面对孩子不能入学，只能暗自流泪，觉得愧对孩子。有些母亲甚至因此走上了绝路，造成母子双亡的惨剧。
These children are still too young! If they cannot go to school, where else can they go? I have no idea about that. Upon this cruel fact, we parents have no choice but to weep in silence, and some mothers even commit suicide.
我们不敢面对入园体检中的两对半，我们非常害怕有一天，孩子携带乙肝的事实，会成为他被孤立的理由，害怕他被周围人指指点点，使他幼小的心灵蒙上永远的阴影。
We fear the blood test in the kindergarten enrollment. We fear that our children might be isolated and discriminated by others for their special identity!
请帮帮我的孩子，帮帮中国一百多万乙肝儿童。让所有的乙肝母亲，从自责和无助的煎熬中解脱出来，让她们面对孩子时，可以开心地笑，而不是无助地哭泣！
There are one million hepatitis B-virus children carriers in China. Would you please help those children, free all those parents from self-blame and helplessness? We just want to smile happily not to weep helplessly when we face our children.
