请问，一把火的“把”怎样翻译比较合适，例如：我的热情好像一把火，冬天里的一把火。应该不是handful吧

on fire: burning with emotion, passion or sensation( often can be heard from NBA reporter)

and, another assistant discussed with me, whether need "is" before "like". But in my opinion, in poems or songs , it could be in brief, not the the constructure as we use in daily life.
