I think that can be clarified by debate if only the debate is based on fact and logic rather than stance and taste.

Nope. ))

If John believes it is true Jane loves him regardless what Jane thinks, it lacks of evidences and burden of proof. Jane may have found him objectionable or annoying.

Someone believes the winter in Canton is heaven regardless what other thinks. It lacks of personal experience being there during the winder.
