The reality veiled behind my fake smile is almost certainly unbelievable for many. Most people would never look at me the same way if they knew what I had been through. Most would feel sorry for me with a shocked heart, and show some sort of love and it would warm my heart for a short while. But then the comedown from the new found friendliness is always a predictable event set like clockwork.[br][br] [br]

Being depressed doesn’t mean sat in your room all day crying and feeling sorry for yourself. Being depressed is the feeling of neglect, loss of self worth and wanting to be more tomorrow than you are today. More positive, more motivated, stronger so that you don’t need to rely on anyone. Being depressed, I don’t want someone to tell me they love me. I’d rather hear a ‘thank you’ with no attachments preferably, even just for opening a door.

Being a manic depressant is hard; the mood swings are pretty much uncontrollable. Close friends are often clueless to my behavior and just ‘laff’ it off. I’d rather they don’t know to be honest were Asians after all and we all know how immature boys’ can be. I wish curing my depression was like baking a cake, I’d make it the best cake ever and make sure everyone got enough to eat, and even some left over for all my favorite people to take home and give some to their mothers.

Strangely though being a manic depressant can be nice at times the extra energy and happiness is amazing, I didn’t know I can dance so much to shit music and the attention I get from girls is appreciated but I sleep in the same bed every night falling asleep to the same song and waking up the same song. The same song since I was 18 and probably the beginning of my depression. Nearly 5 years of depression has led me to waste nearly 4 years of university and living a secluded life away from my family most of the day.

The hardest thing for a man to admit is he needs help. I chose to ask for help as I felt nothing was going change without professional help, counselling for previous issues from childhood will soon start and treatment for depression will moving forward in the new era So I will be gladly ringing in the time ahead, and if I invite you for cake please don’t decline.

in my opinions,deep sadness,means one can not feel it (sadness)anymore.
