太湖之梦

乌夜啼

【南唐】李煜

林花谢了春红， 太匆匆， 无奈朝来寒雨晚来风。 胭脂泪， 相留醉， 几时重， 自是人生长恨水长东。

太湖之梦

The flowers in the forest die out so fast,

only leaving the red field,

i cannot hold up the cold rain in the morning and the wind at night.

tears have swept the kermes on her face,

i can't leave you just like you can't leave me,

when can we meet again.

the river run towards east,

never stop,

and pity is always dury my life.

this column i think is very good, however,  there is few friend here , so i'd like to do something to this column, to Rainbow Rose. Besides, i have to add that i haven't fully understand this poem, so there maybe some obvious errors in my translation, welcome your attending.

I am not sure but maybe you guys pay so much attention on such kinda poem things.I think English is very simple and direct language.I have a suggestion,maybe you guys who interest in this can organize a topic that we can write a article around some specific topic.Each week one topic is ok.and what is more,we can check the article for others' ,espcially those grammar errors.Also we can share those good sentences at the same time.what a good place to practise written English?!

        these days i am a little busy. so I come here not often as before. My major is civil engineering(土木工程）, now i work in a  project supervision company in Su Zhou.
