Good Morning,
Thank you for reaching out to the Hepatitis B Foundation; yes, someone with hepatitis B can come into the United States and work and live. There are health screenings for hepatitis B as part of entry requirements however those screenings only are metrics to track health outcomes and would not prevent someone from coming into the United States. In the United States, there are protections in place against hepatitis B discrimination as well, so employment opportunities, education, and all other things are accessible to people living with hepatitis B under law at this time.
