Dear colleagues, We are cordially inviting you to the 8th APASL Single Topic Conference with the theme “Translational Medicine: Clinical Immunology and Immunotherapy for Viral Hepatitis”, which will be held from 7-9 October 2011 in Beijing. This is also the 2nd APASL STC on  HBV. Liver diseases progression including Chronic   Hepatitis B, Liver Cirrhosis, Liver Failure and HCC, this progression is driven by two major factors: virological and immunological  factors. However, there are many challenges and unanswered questions in clinical immunology of liver diseases which is becoming one of the hot topics in gastroenterology and hepatology. This conference will invite the prestigious experts of liver immunology and immunotherapy to give us comprehensive and cutting-edge presentations, not only in basic research but also the clinical studies in viral hepatitis B and related liver diseases. In addition, the scientific program also includes the application  of vaccines, diagnosis and therapies. Therefore, we hope to capture the updated research findings and translate the scientific evidence into better patient management of liver diseases.
