The primary trigger point of the recent uprisings in the Middle East was food prices, but I think that had  more to do with the GFC (Great Financial Crisis) than Climate Change.  To me the irony, or karma, is that the GFC  was  caused by the greed of the powerful rich of America, many are them are of course Jewish Americans and financial supporters of Israel. Now as a result of their greed, regimes friendly to Israel may fall and be replaced by governments that may be less friendly. To me,  that is at least one good outcome.
The natural disasters we experience lately are a timely reminder that nature is more powerful than humans. Politicians will never have the courage to deal with Climate Change. The immediate future is not looking good, and will be worst especially if there is a big earthquake in the west coast of America.
