嗯，这下我明白了，我问的所有人都认为“Credit may be taken ”中的taken是肯定的意思；我以前以为是把“信任拿走”。

我看的一篇文章中，“Credit may be taken ”和“No credit should be taken" 重复出现了8次之多。所以理解上要根据上下文。

这篇文章的大前提是：Assumptions When Evaluating Emergency Conditions
（1）：No credit shall be taken for increased out-flow via a pressure controlled sidestream due to increased pressure on the upstream side, even if the downstream side is capable of absorbing the increased flow without causing over-pressurisation to occur.

（2）Credit may be taken for reduced flow into a system resulting from the increase in system pressure from normal operating to maximum relieving pressure.

（3）This is not intended to imply that such items are not useful, but credit should not be taken for their functioning when determining the required relieving capacity.

（4）No credit shall be taken for application of cooling water sprays to the vessel or exchanger.

（5） No credit shall be taken for the retarding effect of any cold insulation applied to the vessel or exchanger.

（6）No credit may, however, be taken if as a result of the emergency and the assumed reduced cooling capacity of the air cooler the downstream drum will flood within 15 minutes with the liquid level assumed to be initially at the maximum working level.

我个人倾向“可以考虑”或“不考虑”。

从这个转折关系中可以看出，这是两个句子
应该是（the former）No credit may be taken, however, if(&^*^!^@$^*@$!&*@($), then, credit should be taken.

一般来说，if之后的转折都是确定的意思
因此我倾向于认为credit be taken是“可以确定”或“可以相信”的意思。至少“taken”不是“拿走”的意思
