nowadays , some words cannot be found in the dictionary, someone says it's the 古代英语,and some are not used in daily life.

and few days ago i read a poem, and some old words are there.

could someone explain 古代英语 to us and tell us how to deal with it or how to find it's meaning ? I'll appreciate it if you do me a favor.

Full Fathom Five

Full fathom five thy father lies;

of his bones are coral made;

These are pearls that were his eyes;

Nothing of him that doth fade,

But doth suffer a sea change

Into something rich and strange.

Sea nymphs hourly ring his knell:

Ding-dong

Hark! Now i hear them—ding—dong bell

fathom n.英寻

hark v.听

and what is "doth","thy"....

Full Fathom Five

Full fathom five thy father lies;

of his bones are coral made;

These are pearls that were his eyes;

Nothing of him that doth fade,

But doth suffer a sea change

Into something rich and strange.

Sea nymphs hourly ring his knell:

Ding-dong

叮当

Hark! Now i hear themdingdong bell

i cannot translate the first setence, for it is too difficult for me.

doth: does

thy: your

thou: you

Full Fathom Five

Full fathom five thy father lies;

of his bones are coral made;

These are pearls that were his eyes;

Nothing of him that doth fade,

But doth suffer a sea change

Into something rich and strange.

Sea nymphs hourly ring his knell:

Ding-dong

叮当

Hark! Now i hear themdingdong bell

i cannot translate the first setence, for it is too difficult for me.

doth: does

thy: your

thou: you

   i have an English poem book, of which the authors are from the Renaissance (文艺复兴) to modern times, and it includes some ancient poem which i can guess the meanings of some old English word.
