Good-byes are not forever.Nor is parting such seweet sorrow.If I have connected in such a way to another person,then they are a permanent part of me.They do not leave intact,for they have shared with me a bit of themselves which I have willfully absorbed into my being.God's gift to us to compensate for good-byes is"memory." So that I can recall the sweet smell of a summer rose in the middle of a cold bleak winter day or the smile of my beautiful mother as she gently kissed away my tears.
道别并不是永别，分离带来的也并不是那么甜蜜的忧伤。如果我和某个人以这种方式联系，那么他们就是我人生一个永恒部分。他们的离去并没把自己完全带走，因为他们把自己分了一点点给我，而我已经有意的把这些融进了自己的生命中。上天以“记忆”作为对“离别”的一种补偿。于是我能在一个寒冷萧瑟的冬季午后忆起夏日一朵玫瑰的芬芳气息，又或者我那美丽的母亲温柔的吻去我的泪水时，她脸上绽放的微笑。
