See, I'm keep receiving the information from our CEO in WHQ recently, you can imagine what I'm thinking and what is my situation now!
To everyone,
Your leadership team has already started a comprehensive review of the organization. We have to make some tough decisions on how to reduce layers of management and align our highest-performing talent with our key growth opportunities. We have to do what is necessary to sharpen our focus on the consumer and increase our speed to market.
Following the review we’ll make staffing decisions based on the needs of the organization. As a global company, we are consulting with work councils and other representative bodies. Unfortunately, some people will lose their jobs. There is no good time for this to happen. And given the current job environment, I can assure you we will do our best to support and recognize the contributions of our departing teammates. Others of you will be asked to take on new responsibilities. This much is certain, everyone will be affected, directly or indirectly, as we take further steps to optimize the company. We anticipate the review process and staffing decisions to be complete by the end of the fiscal year.
Going forward we’ll continue to focus on running a lean and strong growth company. We’ll continue to invest in new businesses and the people it takes to meet our strategic objective of consistent, long-term, profitable growth.
As I said, we don’t know all the answers yet. And I know that the length of the review process will be difficult. But I want to be as transparent as possible and tell you up front what we’re doing and why we’re doing it. I’m sure many of you have questions. We’re putting together multiple opportunities for you to get answers - leadership forums, brown bag sessions and team meetings are all in the works. I also invite you to email me directly at *****, I’ll make sure we respond, if not to every question, certainly to every theme.
As I’ve said before, these are not times for “business as usual.” These are times that test our strength and our leadership. Part of that test is staying focused. Stay on the offense. Contain costs. Prioritize projects that have the most impact. Set aside investments that don’t have a quick and obvious return. Continue to show your passion for excellence.
We’re working through conditions we have not seen before. As we do I’m convinced more than ever of two important things: first, Our Company will come through this period a stronger company with even greater potential. Second, I wouldn’t trade places with anybody in any industry.
Thanks.
More soon, |
