Well, I watched two video courses about the New and Old Bibles from Yale University - so the bibles are not written by God but by a bunch of people, mainly the Jews, to comfort themselves as the chosen people.
I believed in evolution and the Big Bang - so I don't believe in the Genesis.
I dislike the people who run the Christian churches - all they care about are: anti-gay, ant-abortion, and ant-contraception, very little about helping the poor and oppressed.
Oh, I also read a lot about the human brain and neuroscience - so there is no soul and most probably no free will either.
So it is pretty stupid to believe in the God that is depicted and worshiped by the present-day Christians.
But I am still hopeful that there is a purpose to us being here, rather than just being an accident of evolution.
Actually it is quite liberating to believe in yourself than to believe in a God that is impossible to understand.
I am just a 70% Christian. Only read Bible for several days and had never gone to church. I trust Big Bang theory and evolution too, they are proved by scientist already. In my understanding, Bible teachs us about God as true as possible, but it doesn't mean everything in bible is 100% true. In our world, even time, distance and speed aren't 100% true.
God may feel sorry to lose you, if God really exists. Anyway, thanks for sharing, we are interested on sex, not religion in this topic.
