Australians don't take themselves seriously, or especially those in high places. Do you know:
1. Our Prime Minister is unmarried and lives with her boyfriend, a hairdresser, in the official government residence.
2. A Half-Chinese government minister, Ms Penny Wong, is openly lesbian.
3. A High Court Judge is openly gay.
4. Our ex prime minister waited in a queue to buy a book, nobody let him go first.

They used to call us a weird mob.
