If you have not yet produced a topic, I would love to present one for the very first meeting (will go on if you like): Is it necessary to go to universities to get education? Or Educate yourself, which you perfer, at home or at universities?

hei upper, there is no choice for a educatee. There is invisible hand which push you to dangle after degree..., that is the demond from market. So the question is for what you need such education. For living? you have to jump into the Campus, otherwise you may starve to death at your sweet home with your sweet home education dream

Heyer, Thanks for your comment! It is just an open discussion, isn't it? It is also another kind of experience to embrace my sweet dream at my sweet home. I enjoy it...as HBVers...most of our dreams are hampered...That is why...

Anyway, come to the point. You are right. It is the social reality which acts as invisible power, pushing us to squeeze into the universities. To put it in more details, the invisible power normally consists of the push of society and the tempatation of fame, good jobs in future and such worldly profits.  The above-mentioned is only one side of the coins. Have you ever considered another fact?

As we know, univerities or colleges in China have only the capacity of admitting very small part of those who are eager for admission. Many high school students will be turned down in the competition, which in fact is deemed by most people the doomsday of their future. We are lucky to have gained the higher degree so that we are in better position to say how nice it is to get high educated and how nice we are meeting the market's need. However, what about the majority, who are still hanging around the door of universities. From this sense, I recommend that people may think about educating themselves at home.
