Heyer, Thanks for your comment! It is just an open discussion, isn't it? It is also another kind of experience to embrace my sweet dream at my sweet home. I enjoy it...as HBVers...most of our dreams are hampered...That is why...
Anyway, come to the point. You are right. It is the social reality which acts as invisible power, pushing us to squeeze into the universities. To put it in more details, the invisible power normally consists of the push of society and the tempatation of fame, good jobs in future and such worldly profits. The above-mentioned is only one side of the coins. Have you ever considered another fact?
As we know, univerities or colleges in China have only the capacity of admitting very small part of those who are eager for admission. Many high school students will be turned down in the competition, which in fact is deemed by most people the doomsday of their future. We are lucky to have gained the higher degree so that we are in better position to say how nice it is to get high educated and how nice we are meeting the market's need. However, what about the majority, who are still hanging around the door of universities. From this sense, I recommend that people may think about educating themselves at home.
