The Academy Award winner for Best Picture,

Best Director Robert Zemeckis,

and Best Actor Tom Hanks,

this unlikely story of a slow-witted but good-hearted man somehow at the center of the pivotal events of the 20th century is a funny and heartwarming epic.

Hanks plays the title character, a shy Southern boy in love with his childhood best friend who finds that his ability to run fast takes him places.

As an All-Star football player he meets John F. Kennedy;

as a soldier in Vietnam he's a war hero;

and as a world champion Ping-Pong player he's hailed by Richard Nixon. Becoming a successful shrimp-boat captain,

he still yearns for the love of his life,

who takes a quite different and much sadder path in life.

The visual effects incorporating Hanks into existing newsreel footage is both funny and impressive, but the heart of the film lies in its sweet love story and in the triumphant performance of Hanks as an unassuming soul who savors the most from his life and times. [br][br] [br]

透过他的眼光，世界是不同的，虽然他是一个slow-witted，但是却有着一份good-hearted.

中国人常说“傻人有傻福”，但是现代人，有哪个愿意被看作“傻子”或者情愿当“傻子”

Tom Hanks诠释的Forrest Gump，在憨厚迟缓的外貌上透露出独特的温馨，你不得不喜欢这个常人口中的“傻子”，你不得不被他的“单纯”“诚挚”所感动。

一部好的影片，他除了感官的刺激，还给你心灵的触动，并或许有可能对你的人生造成影响，我不知道这部影片在你的心里留下怎样的种子，或许你也不知道这部影片在你心里留下怎样的种子，直到一天，你面临了某种情境或者要做出某种抉择，在偶尔的情况下，你想起了他的确给了你一些你从未领略的撼动。

You had not to read that post carefully; I wrote a post in Chinese to explain it after I posted that lyrics.

Read it again, and try to imagine the picture within a bunch birds of passage flying together back to the South.

This is a story of "promises"; however what kind of promises here, you have to taste it yourself.

A city, Savannah, is revealed in the background.

The feather floats down toward the city below.

The feather drops down toward the street below,

as people walk past and cars drive by,

and nearly lands on a man's shoulder.

He walks across the street,

causing the feather to be whisked back on its journey.

The feather floats above a stopped car.

The car drives off right as the feather floats down toward the street.

The feather floats under a passing car, then is sent flying back up in the air.

A MAN sits on a bus bench.

The feather floats above the ground and finally lands on the man's mudsoaked shoe. The man reached down and picks up the feather.

His name is FORREST GUMP. He looks at the feather oddly, moves aside a box of chocolates from an old suitcase, then opens the case.

羽毛轻轻的随着气流动向，可能停留在任何地方，但是他停留在Forrest满是泥泞的鞋旁。

也许这就刻画着人生，you never know what you gonna get.

人生到处知何似，恰似飞鸿踏雪泥，你上偶然留指抓，鸿飞那复计东西。

I like Forrest Gump, a simple man, lived a simple life in his simple way, that other may think as a legend. Comparatively, his lover, Jenny, lived a totally different life, but had a totally different end. Actually, I do not think that Jenny's life was a failure, it was her choice, and maybe she loved it, who knows.
