6th 5 February Saturday

同房东谈了，再住1个月，我就有时间在附近慢慢找房子了，就是贵点。但我舍不得这个地方。

上午去北边一个 Portugal 的 food mall, bought salt, noodles, vinegar, celery, spice( I don’t know what it is exactly) , milk.

In Public Community Center, I saw some black children were practising poem. They will play it on stage. I took a chair, sat down with them, and listened. That was very interesting. I asked a girl for a copy of the poem, I’ll show you.

Still I Rise

You may write me down in history With your bitter, twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? ‘Cause I walk I’ve got oil wells, Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and suns, With the certainty of tides. Just like hopes springing high, Still I’ll rise.

Did you want to see me broken? Bowed head and lowered eyes? Shoulders falling down like teardrops, Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you? Don’t you take it awful hard. ‘Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines, Diggin’ in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words, You may cut me with your eyes, You may kill me with your hatefulness, But still like air, I’ll rise.

Does my sexinss upset you? Does it come as a surprise. (注意，这不是问句，是倒装，上段的第2个don't you 也是） That I dance like I’ve got diamonds At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history’s shame I rise Up from a past that’s rooted in pain I rise I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide, Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.

Leaving behind nights of terror and fear I rise Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear I rise Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and the hope of the slave, I rise I rise I rise

说的是黑人受压迫的事。我们看着也挺有同感的吧。读的时候，rise要读成"rye", 所以我开始半天都听不 懂那是什么。

And I made joke with them. The tutor told them:" Don't too hurry, it's poem,wait a moment." I said:" Hi, guys, have you ever watched the TV comic show ' FRIENDS'? Joy told us some experiences about acting. When you forget something or you want to wait a minute on stage, You can act just like this, ......, sounds like you smell something." They all laughed, and the tutor said:" No, we don't do that."

7th 6 February Sunday

在公园丢了眼镜盒，after 2 hours, I went back to the park. Fortunately I found my glasses-box, which had been put on a bench by somegoodguy.

子曰：不迁怒，不二过。 同样的错误不要犯两次。我在衣服口袋里缝了一根线。在钱包里也缝了线。这样我再出去，可以把眼镜 盒的线绑在口袋里的线上，钱包如果放重要东西的话，也可以绑在口袋里。这样就不会“二过”了。 Where there is a will, there is a way.

8th 7 February Mon warm&rainning

Go out for my SIN card and health insurance. Buy 2 hamsticks at the mall.

First rain, tiny

Rain, Rain, go away, come again on another day, little Johny want to play, Rain, Rain, go away.

高兴的是，我带去的东西都挺好用。尤其是ikea的一套盒子。可以用在厨房吃饭洗菜， 也可以用来放东西。地方小，很多小东西很难放。幸亏有这样一套盒子。 鞋刷子是在路边买的，用的时候掉毛。

过年了，6毛钱买了两个鸡腿，横砍几刀，加salt, spice,下锅煮120分。汤放凉后装入用过的大奶罐子。以后都可以

吃鸡汤挂面了。

肉浇上盐，醋，调料，辣椒，可以吃顿白斩鸡。

正如我所担心的那样，一旦能上网，就开始依赖这里了。过去我一直没有积极解决网络问题，就是

怕自己太依赖这里，影响适应新环境。

过去我白天去downtown逛，晚上看英文电视，看自己带的《四书集注》。

以后我也要限制一下上网，对适应新环境不好。
