On this solemn anniversary, the people around the world in reflecting upon the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

As I share in the National Moment of Silence at 8:46 a.m. EDT and remember throughout the day, I pay tribute to those who were lost, their family members whose lives were forever changed, and the heroic people who worked around the clock to rescue and recover. It was them to sacrifice their life to give me the right of freedom. It was them to teach me how to value a personal life.

Just like last year, I went to hospital this morning. Then I came home to pause and watch TV for the rest of the September 11th.

Today I pause and remember. Tomorrow, as always, I roll up my sleeves to do what I can.

To all Americans

Shining in the Dark

Today I lit a candle which sparkled very bright
It chased away the darkness, flooding it with light
A thousand names were seen there
With each flicker came a thousand more.
Each one a very precious memory
Resting now on another shore
Today I lit a candle many others did the same
One World united, in that one eternal flame.
~ Helen Arnold ~

With deepest sympathy to all who were
personally touched by The tragic events of September 11th
A year later we are still feeling the aftershocks of
That darkest of days.
We would like to salute the unsung hero's
who should not be forgotten.
The man that removed his jacket and gently
placed it around the shoulders of a woman
whose clothes had been blown off of her.
The many wonderful people who stood in line
for hours waiting to give blood.
The many caregivers that cared for, loved,
comforted and fed children when their
parents didn't return for them.
The many that put a strangers life above their
own as they helped them from burning and
crumbling buildings.
The old man that stooped down to help an
injured person sitting on a curb, by placing
his handkerchief against a bleeding wound,
and stayed with them until help arrived.
The thousands across our country that
held prayer vigils and lit candles.
All of these people and more gave their best
when the worst was upon us, and showed everyone
the true spirit of America.
United We Stand....Divided We Fall

Thank you very much Doc, that was an emotional and touching tribute.

I would like to further it by extending your tribute to ALL the countries
that lost their own citizens in the Towers, Planes and Pentagon during that
tragic day.

We are truly a blessed nation and list to have a worldwide and diverse group
of friends.

Well Said Doc!!

I Cried watching the events a year ago and again

freind, mother, brother, sister, son or daughter. I am
filled with pride when i recall The brave men and
women that stood up to protect others knowing they
would die. Modern day hero's, saints, patriots.
Remeber these words and never forget, " Lets Roll ".
these words were spoken and acted on to save what
America Stands for.......FREEDOM. NEVER FORGETT WHAT
HAS HAPPENED AND NEVER LET THE MEMORY OF THE VICTEMS

Yes, 9/11 was truly suck.

Fortunately, history has shown that people who tried to acquire power
through destructions did not last long. The real strength of the society is
in the constructive elements. These are the inventions, the curing of
diseases, the constructions, the education, etc.. Hopefully, the world will
rid of this human virus called Al Queda and its mutations soon.
