斯坦佛大学博士生，上星期五在加州优生美地国家公园“无保障攀崖”中坠落身亡。
看看她出事时无保护爬的峭壁，光体魄没用还要有远超一般人的强大神经。她在出事现场的爬友说以她的攀岩能力这个峭壁属于小菜一碟，经常上上下下的。可能是主观上有些忽视了。

这女孩是哈佛学士斯坦佛硕士，博士在读，三个不同专业，学士是生化，硕士是工程，博士是政治。她的研究题目是中国的环境政策，已经在中国研究了一年，本来过完夏天要再去中国的。除了攀岩，她还弹钢琴拉大小提琴。非常才华横溢的女孩，可惜可痛可哀。

Free soloing means climbing without a rope or safety protection, and is usually practiced only by the most skilled of climbers.
