Tenofovir alafanamide (TAF GS-7340) fumarate is a next generation prodrug of Tenofovir (TFV) that is more stable in plasma/tissues than Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF, Viread):
1. Provides high levels of active drug (TFV-diphosphate) in target cells (e.g. hepatocytes and lymphoid cells) at lower doese than TDF
2. Reduced systemic exposures of TFV offer the potential for an improved safety profile (e.g. bone/renal adverse events)

泰诺福韦alafanamide（TAF GS-7340）是下一代富马酸替诺福韦（TFV）的前药更稳定的血浆/组织比富马酸泰诺福韦（TDF，Viread的）：
1。提供高水平的活性药物（TFV-二磷酸）在靶细胞（如肝细胞和淋巴细胞）比TDF doese较低
