The Birthday party
OnSeptember 9th, Jim told me that day is his birthday, so I go to hishouse for dinner.
When I arrivedat his house, I saw Jim and Tom and Logan etc. We talked about each other, allof us were good. Jim’s wife was cooking in kitchen.
After for 20minutes, the dinner was started, and then Jim blew out candles, we sing thesong “happy birthday to you” to him and gave our best wishes to him.
We started tohave a dinner, there many dishes in dining-table, I described them.
The first dishwas twice-cooked pork, it was made of pork and chillies, and it was fried twicewith aginomoto, the condiments were sauce, sugar and green peper and etc, itsmells very good.
the second dishwas beer duck, it was made of duck and beer, Jim’ wife had boiled it with beer andsalted chilli paste for 30 minutes, the condiments were ginger, anise, garlicand shallot etc.
The third dishwas steamed fish, it was made of fish and shallot, it was steamed with ginger,garlic,vinegarand etc.
