Anti-HBV discrimination activists on Xiamen's Zhongshan Road

Anti-HBV discrimination activists offered free meals on Sunday at Xiamen’s Zhongshan Road, to let the public know they will not get Hepatitis B by having dinner with the patients, reports Xiamen Daily.

Xiao Jing, a 24-year-old Chongqing girl, was unfairly fired by a company in 2009 when she was found to be a Hepatitis B virus carrier. She has since devoted herself to the anti-discrimination campaign.

She took charge of the HBV Carriers Seek for Dining Companions campaign after the previous leader quit this June.

Holding a board of health tips on HBV and her health certificate, Xiao promoted knowledge of HBV to attract people as long as they didn’t run away. Two volunteers also asked the public to give their opinions on eating together with HBV carriers.

Among the 13 people who agreeded to show for the dinner, 7 made their appearance in the restaurant on Shuixian Road.

Xiao said Xiamen was her third stop in the national patrol, and she is satisfied with the result.

130 million HBV carriers and 30 million chronically infected live in China. Although the legal barrier has been lifted, they still face job and other kinds of discriminations.

You just have to keep stirring the pot - eventually most people will lose their ignorant fear about hbv.

How? Inviting everyone to kiss you (just a joke)?
How about - "You kiss me, I pay"

"You kiss me, I pay you - I pay double if you are non-hbv"

Seriously, I don't know why you need to find a non-HBV. Next thing you will want to find a non-HIV, non-TB, non-fat, non-skinny, non-hairy, non-poor,................

In English, there is an expression: pull my leg.
That is, I don't believe you - all men love to kiss and be kissed by women.
