I am from Sydney, Australia. Here are some of my thoughts:
1. If you can read and write Chinese, there is no need for a special forum.
2. If you can read but not write (like me), it is a problem which I overcome by using Google translate.
3. If you cannot read Chinese, then there is a need for a special forum. From my own personal experience, I know of only 3 HBV forums on the Internet: here, Medhelp, and HepB List based in America. Basically, this means, outside of China, there is very little demand for a HBV forum.
So my suggestion is that you change the name of English&English forum to English HBVHBV and open the forum to everyone and to all topics. Encourage the Chinese members to post in English (using Google translate as an aid), make sure there is a registration page in English, and see what happens next. It should be a win-win: the Chinese members can exchange with people from outside China and vice versa. 作者: 奔跑者 时间: 2011-1-27 20:06

why can't you write? If it's just a problem of input method, maybe you can try the web-based input method, eg.

Well, it is a long story. I went overseas when I was 13. So you get a bit rusty after 47 years. Besides, I learned the traditional Chinese and I am still not up to speed with the simplified version. Even if I do remember how to write a certain character, I still have to learn the computer data entry system. That is harder still. I have not looked at the pinyin system, but I imagine with my Cantonese, it is not going to help .
Three cheers to Google translate! 作者: mons 时间: 2011-2-13 13:46
